Hangout with Lenva was very informative about Dashboard/Hapara Workspace.  I love it!  I need to go to toolkits online to learn more.  Thanks Manaiakalani.

Manaiakalani has been a real eye-opener for my teaching practice. I'm feeling a little sad for my tamariki at the moment, on how much they are missing out not having their own i-pad in the classroom.

Very interesting korero with Dorothy this morning about empowering.  Doing the Manaiakalani programme empowers me to help empower the tamariki that i teach.

The internet was down the majority of the day but Vivian had some really interesting hands -on activities to do such as Zombie Lights, which is a quick lesson to showcase inputs, outputs and basis electronics.

Google Sites......impressive!!!!  So many things shared today about Google sites.  I concentrated more on things that would be useful for my classroom. 

 The boys in my class would love creating minecraft pictures in google sheets.

I will definately be using this for my learners.

Google Sites......loving it!  Learnt to create buttons to create simple but visually appealing home page for the tamariki.

I like searching the Manaiakalani Google Class On Air. to help with ideas.

I was alot more confident with DFI today.  Abit like learning to drive a car.  The more you drive, the better you get!  Thanks a million to Vicki and Makaore for their patience with me.  He toki kōrua!

It's in the creating that the individual gains purpose.

Oh dear I keep loosing everything! OK I am so new at this blogging but I will try my best. Please be patient with me.

Firstly, i was shown google groups. A great way to email out to individuals in sports teams.  I love the fact you can share information with your entire group by sending one email....so much quicker!
I can add more members to the group as well.

I really like the Jumping between the chrome tabs by numbering them too.

My google drive is a mess, so the little that i did learn today will definately help tidy it up.  I found out that it is not a good idea to send or delete a folder if it is shared.  Oh dear, I'm not sure how many times i have done that.  Better to use 'shift z' to ADD TO folders than moving them.

I thought i knew a bit about google documents.  I knew very little of google documents!   But after today i have increased my knowledge just a little bit more.  I now know you can put a table into a table.  I have created a poster about a disco which i would like to show but i have no idea how to insert it into my blog????

I did complete the Scavenger Hunt.  I am feeling embarrassed about how very little I know.  The next 9 sessions are going to be interesting.
